Superstar host of the Terminally Unique Podcast, Dean Wright has been working in addiction treatment for 10 years and has been involved in 12 step recovery for nearly 13 years. Dean attended school shortly after his prison sentence in 2013 and finishing his educational journey in 2019 with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Along the way he picked up his certification in Drug and Alcohol counseling and began working with addicted populations. His passion for helping those in need sparked the idea for the podcast (with his original co host Lucas Western) in the middle of the pandemic when all the live meetings shuttered. The idea was to bring a slice of experience, strength and hope to those who needed it. Dean continues to work with addicts and alcoholics in his profession today and has a thriving practice. The motivation that drives his insistence on continuing the show since the reopening of the world post pandemic is the emails and support of the listeners.
